Alpha Preliminary Products

Preliminary release of the third generation of the State Plane Coordinate System. SPCS2022 will be referenced to the 2022 NSRS Terrestrial Reference Frames to support surveying, engineering, and mapping activities in the Modernized NSRS.

An alpha version of NCAT that supports coordinate conversions for the preliminary State Plane Coordinate Sysytem of 2022. Transformations between existing and modernized NSRS reference frames and datums will be added to a later version.

This alpha version of GEOID2022 is the most recent prototype of the geoid models, covering three regions: the North America–Pacific region, Guam and Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa. The spatial resolution of the geoid model is 1 arcminute.

Euler Pole Parameters (EPP) are needed to define the relationship between the ITRF2020 and models on the North America, Caribbean, Pacific and Mariana plates as discussed in Blueprint Part 1. The values in this table serve as an Alpha version for software and model testing.
